Sewing Lessons Ages 8 and up

Our November/December session is now open for registration! 

This is no ordinary sewing class of make and take projects!

In this class, the students will learn the entire process of sewing starting with cutting out the pattern with fabric to sewing it into a completed project. Each project will focus on a new skill. This class is meant to be a progressive class where the students will learn the process of sewing from raw materials to completion. They will be cutting fabric, learning to use a sewing machine, pinning, measuring, using patterns and so much more. This sessions projects will be making various Christmas gifts for loved ones and holiday decor.

Class schedule for Monday’s homeschool class Monday’s 1pm-3pm November 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th and December 7th and 14th.

Classes schedule for Friday’s: Homeschool Class Mornings 10:00am-12:00pm: November 6th, 13th, 20th,  December 4th and 11th (There will be no sewing class on November 27th)

Class schedule for Saturdays 10am-12pm: November 7th, 14th, 21st, December 5th and 12th. (There will be no sewing class on November 28th.

We are located at 379 Wiese Albert Rd. Higganum CT.

Please note: In order to allow for personal instruction, the class only allows 7 participants.

*An email confirmation will be sent once you have signed up. Attached in the email will be a waiver to participate in activities on the farm. If you have not signed a waiver for the 2024 calendar year, please fill out, sign and bring it on the first day of class. (Please include all persons that will be on the farm including adults and siblings not participating.)

*Please note that our class size has a Max of 6 participants. Signing your child up for this class reserves his/her space for the class. Because of this, we do not refund any portion of tuition in the event that your child is unable to attend a class. However, space permitting, they may makeup one class on another time/day if space allows.
