My name is Tara. I am a mom of three, and fashion designer gone farmer. I started off in the apparel industry with a Fashion Design degree, where I have been for the past 27 years. During that time, I have worked every aspect of the industry from creating a design, making the pattern and sample, to production. Although, Fashion Design is still a great love of mine, having a farm has been a dream since I was a young child. Over the years, I have taken small steps to living a more healthy and natural lifestyle. I have studied herbs, essential oils, nutrition, the negative effects of chemicals and so much more. Eight years ago, my farming adventure began. It was not met without obstacles but through perseverance I have pushed through and come out stronger. My farm has grown into a beautiful tranquil place and everyday I get closer to achieving my goals. I now offer programs for children and adults, in two of my favorite areas. I teach educational farming classes as well as sewing classes.

Mission

Here at Harmony Farms, our mission is to live healthy and be happy. Our hope is that our journey would inspire you to do the same.

As we journey to a more self-sufficient lifestyle, we are happy to offer farm and sewing programs as well as hand made goat milk soap.
