DESCRIPTION:Make and Take sewing class (ages 8 and up)\n\nIn this Make and Take make class we will be making a stuffed goldfish! \nThis make and take class is part of our summer schedule. It runs differently than our regular programs because summers can get busy and we wanted to ensure our students would be able to complete their projects. Because of this\, the projects will be cut out and prepared in advance and the students will sew them together. \nDuring these summer classes\, we will heavily focus on sewing skills.

DESCRIPTION:This class  is designed for younger students ages 4 and up that would like to move onto sewing lessons when they are older\, or are creative and like to use their hands. In this class\, we will learn how to sew with a hand needle while creating fun projects that can be taken home at the end of each class. The last 15 minutes of class\, weather permitting\, we will have a creature feature. During this time\, they will be able to meet one of the animals on the farm and ask questions. \n*This class may require parent participation. You may need to help your child/children as they fine tune their fine motor skills and become more independent.

SUMMARY:Let's Learn About Fiber!
DESCRIPTION:In this 2 hour class\, we will be learning about alpacas and Angora goats. By comparing alpaca fiber to Angora fiber\, we will get to see how fiber differs and the reasons for it. You will get to meet our resident alpacas and Angora goat. Working with alpaca fiber and other medias\, you will get to create and take home a you own felted project. \nThis class is for ages 4 and up. Please note that it is not a drop off class.

DESCRIPTION:Join us on June 7th from 1-4 as we celebrate our amazing Fathers by making them customized gilling aprons. \nThis is a make and take class. That means\, you choose the color apron you would like to make and we prepare the project and cut out the fabric in advance so you can sewing it together and add your personal touch by decorating it from start to finish in one class. \nREGISTER HERE \nYou do not need to have previous sewing experience. We will walk you through the process one step at a time. \nThis class is for any participant ages 8 and up. \n*An email confirmation will be sent once you have signed up. Attached in the email will be a waiver to participate in activities on the farm. If you have not signed a waiver for the 2025 calendar year\, please fill out\, sign and bring it on the first day of class. (Please include all persons that will be on the farm including adults and siblings not participating.)
