DESCRIPTION:In this 2 hour class\, we will be learning about alpacas and Angora goats. By comparing alpaca fiber to Angora fiber\, we will get to see how fiber differs and the reasons for it. You will get to meet our resident alpacas and Angora goat. Working with alpaca fiber and other medias\, you will get to create and take home a you own felted project. \nThis class is for ages 4 and up. Please note that it is not a drop off class.

SUMMARY:Hand Sewing Class With Creature Feature Ages 4-7
DESCRIPTION:This class  is designed for younger students ages 4 and up that would like to move onto sewing lessons when they are older\, or are creative and like to use their hands. In this class\, we will learn how to sew with a hand needle while creating fun projects that can be taken home at the end of each class. The last 15 minutes of class\, weather permitting\, we will have a creature feature. During this time\, they will be able to meet one of the animals on the farm and ask questions. \n*This class may require parent participation. You may need to help your child/children as they fine tune their fine motor skills and become more independent.

DESCRIPTION:A one week program that runs from 9am-1pm Monday through Friday July 14th- July 18th  \n*CLICK HERE TO REGISTER* \nThere is no prior sewing experience necessary! \nParticipants will learn everything from how to use a sewing machine\, putting on zippers\, buttons\, cutting out patterns to finished products. Each project will focus on a new skill.  In addition to sewing\, they will be able to spend time with our resident farm animals including baby goats\, and alpacas.

DESCRIPTION:Make and Take sewing class (ages 8 and up)\n\nIn this Make and Take make class we will be making a stuffed goldfish! \nThis make and take class is part of our summer schedule. It runs differently than our regular programs because summers can get busy and we wanted to ensure our students would be able to complete their projects. Because of this\, the projects will be cut out and prepared in advance and the students will sew them together. \nDuring these summer classes\, we will heavily focus on sewing skills.
