On/Off The Farm Educational School Program

Choose the Educational program that fits your schools needs. We customize our educational programs to meet your needs.

Your program can be a field trip to our farm or we can load up our farm friends and bring them to you!

Below are the base programs that we offer. Each is customized to fit your needs.

Option 1 Meet And Greet With Small Animals:    1 hour off the farm meet and greet with small animals that include goats (babies when we have them), ducks, bunnies and chickens. This is more of an informal program where the students will learn a bit about each animal and will be able to pet them and ask any questions they have.

 Option 2 Meet And Greet Small Animals Plus Alpacas:   1 hour off the farm meet and greet from option 1 but also includes alpacas

Option 3 Alpaca And Fiber Craft:   1 1/2-hour alpaca program with fiber craft. Your students will learn all about alpacas, interact and pet them and complete an age appropriate felting craft.

Option 4 Chick hatching:  We also offer a chick hatching class where the students get to experience the development of a chick and learn all about chickens. This is a 4-week program where we come for 45 minutes on day 1, 7, and 21 of the incubation period, to teach them about the developing chicks, parts of an egg and all about chickens. The incubator will stay in a safe place in your classroom for the children to view throughout the incubation process. Please note, the teacher will oversee maintaining the humidity and ensuring the incubator is in a safe place. They will just need to add water. We will show you how to care for the incubator on day 1.
