Sewing Lessons Ages 8 and up

This is no ordinary sewing class of make and take projects!
In this class, the students will learn the entire process of sewing starting with cutting out the pattern with fabric to sewing it into a completed project. Each project will focus on a new skill. This class is meant to be a progressive class where the students will learn the process of sewing from raw materials to completion. They will be cutting fabric, learning to use a sewing machine, pinning, measuring, using patterns and so much more. This class is a 6 week program on either Fridays or Saturday mornings or afternoon. We are located at 379 Wiese Albert Rd. Higganum CT.
Fridays class will meet on the following days from 10:00am-12:00pm: May 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st and June 7th.
Saturday morning classes will meet on the following days from 10:00am-12:00pm: May 4th, 11th, 18th, June 1st, 15th, and 22nd. (Saturday morning classes are sold out.)
*JUST ADDED** Saturday afternoon classes will meet on the following days from 3:30-5:30: May 4th, 11th, 18th, June 1st, 15th, 22nd.

Please note: In order to allow for personal instruction, the class only allows 6 participants.
If the class you would like to sign up for is full, please send me an email with what time/day you would like to sign up your child for and we will add you to a waitlist.
*An email confirmation will be sent once you have signed up. Attached in the email will be a waiver to participate in activities on the farm. If you have not signed a waiver for the 2024 calendar year, please fill out, sign and bring it on the first day of class. (Please include all persons that will be on the farm including adults and siblings not participating.)
*Please note that our class size has a Max of 6 participants. Signing your child up for this class reserves his/her space for the class. Because of this, we do not refund any portion of tuition in the event that your child is unable to attend a class. However, space permitting, they may makeup one class on another time/day if space allows.
