Sewing Lessons Ages 8 and up

This is no ordinary sewing class of make and take projects!

In this class, the students will learn the entire process of sewing starting with cutting out the pattern with fabric to sewing it into a completed project. Each project will focus on a new skill. This class is meant to be a progressive class where the students will learn the process of sewing from raw materials to completion. They will be cutting fabric, learning to use a sewing machine, pinning, measuring, using patterns and so much more. The Saturday  class is a 7 week program held on Saturday mornings. The Monday homeschool class meets on Mondays twice a month.

We are located at 379 Wiese Albert Rd. Higganum CT.

Class schedule for Mondays homeschool class (this class meets twice a month) Monday September 9th and 16th from 1-3

Classes schedule for Saturdays: September 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th, October 12th, 19th, and 26th.

Saturday mornings from 10:00am-12:00pm

Please note: In order to allow for personal instruction, the class only allows 6 participants.

*An email confirmation will be sent once you have signed up. Attached in the email will be a waiver to participate in activities on the farm. If you have not signed a waiver for the 2024 calendar year, please fill out, sign and bring it on the first day of class. (Please include all persons that will be on the farm including adults and siblings not participating.)

*Please note that our class size has a Max of 6 participants. Signing your child up for this class reserves his/her space for the class. Because of this, we do not refund any portion of tuition in the event that your child is unable to attend a class. However, space permitting, they may makeup one class on another time/day if space allows.
