Sewing Lessons Ages 8 and up

Price range: $90.00 through $210.00

This is no ordinary sewing class of make and take projects!

In this class, the students will learn the entire process of sewing starting with cutting out the pattern with fabric to sewing it into a completed project. Each project will focus on a new skill. This class is meant to be a progressive class where the students will learn the process of sewing from raw materials to completion. They will be cutting fabric, learning to use a sewing machine, pinning, measuring, using patterns and so much more.

******For the May/June session, we will be working on some up cycling. If your child has a pair of jeans that still fits in the waist but is maybe too short or has a pair of jeans that fits but can be up-cycled, please bring it to the first class. If your child does not have a pair of jeans that the can up-cycle, please let me know and I will find something that can be used. ******

Classes schedule for Friday’s group A: homeschool class mornings 10:00am-12:00pm: May 1st, 8th, and 15th.

Class schedule for Saturdays: May 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th. June 6th and 13th.

Please note: In order to allow for personal instruction, the class only allows 7 participants.

*An email confirmation will be sent once you have signed up. Attached in the email will be a waiver to participate in activities on the farm. If you have not signed a waiver for the 2024 calendar year, please fill out, sign and bring it on the first day of class. (Please include all persons that will be on the farm including adults and siblings not participating.)

*Please note that our class size has a Max of 6 participants. Signing your child up for this class reserves his/her space for the class. Because of this, we do not refund any portion of tuition in the event that your child is unable to attend a class. However, space permitting, they may makeup one class on another time/day if space allows.
