Birthday parties on the Farm!
What better way to celebrate a birthday than at a farm!
Birthday parties at the farm are 1 1/2 hrs and include a guided farm tour, a creature feature highlighting one of our many resident animals including alpacas, nigerian dwarf goats, angora goats, and chickens. At certain times of the year, we also have chicks, and baby goats. We setup and clean up, provide games, paper goods and table cloths. You provide food, drinks, and cake.
Parties include goat milk soap party favors!
Sewing Summer Camp ages 8 and up
A one week program that runs from 9am-1pm Monday through Friday June 24th-28th
There is no prior sewing experience necessary!
Participants will learn everything from how to use a sewing machine, putting on zippers, buttons, cutting out patterns to finished products. Each project will focus on a new skill. In addition to sewing, they will be able to spend time with our resident farm animals including baby goats, and alpacas.
Farm Summer Camp for ages 8 and up
Join us for our week long summer program Monday through Friday from 9-1 July 15th-July 19th and learn all about farm animals!
Your child will have so much fun learning about and spending time with farm animals, playing games, and making handicrafts!
Each day we will focus on a different farm animal from our farm including alpacas, nigerian goats, angora goat, and chickens. We will have baby animals throughout the summer as well so your child may be able to snuggle a baby goat or chick. We will even go on an alpaca hike!
Hatching Baby Chicks! Oh My! (coming soon)
During this hands on 4 week class, we will incubate our own eggs, experiencing for ourselves the miracle of life as the eggs transform from a seemingly simple egg to a chirping chick, and then to a full grown hen or rooster. We will learn how to care for both chicks and full grown chickens as well as the benefits of having chickens.
Sewing Lessons Ages 8 and up
This is no ordinary sewing class of make and take projects!
In this class, the students will learn the entire process of sewing starting with cutting out the pattern with fabric to sewing it into a completed project. Each project will focus on a new skill. This class is meant to be a progressive class where the students will learn the process of sewing from raw materials to completion. They will be cutting fabric, learning to use a sewing machine, pinning, measuring, using patterns and so much more. This class is a 6 week program on either Fridays or Saturday mornings or afternoon.
