Join our Mother Daughter Sewing Class for a fun-filled evening of creativity, learning, and quality time together! In just one class, you’ll work side by side to complete beautiful sewing projects while learning basic sewing skills in a relaxed, beginner friendly environment. Whether you’re both new to sewing or looking to create special memories together, this class is the perfect opportunity to unplug, laugh, learn, and leave with a handmade project you’ll be proud of. No experience is necessary- just bring your enthusiasm and enjoy a memorable evening of stitching, creating, and connecting!
Class dates and projects:
Friday September 18th 6pm-8pm We will be making up cycled stuffed teddy bears
Friday October 9th 6pm-8pm We will be making decorative pumpkins
***Please note: A quantity of 1 at checkout reserves both mother and daughter as participants in the class.
We are located at 379 Wiese Albert Rd. Higganum CT.
Please note: In order to allow for personal instruction, the class only allows 6 participants.
This class is for participants ages 8 and up. No previous sewing experience necessary.
What is a make and take? This format is a little different than how we usually run our classes. In a make and take, we create a kit with all materials and notions needed for the project all cut out and ready to sew. This allows us to focus solely on sewing skills and allows the participant to start and finish the project in one class.
*An email confirmation will be sent once you have signed up. Attached in the email will be a waiver to participate in activities on the farm. If you have not signed a waiver for the 2026 calendar year, please fill out, sign and bring it on the first day of class. (Please include all persons that will be on the farm including adults and siblings not participating.)
*Please note that our class size has a Max of 6 participants. Signing your child up for this class reserves his/her space for the class. Because of this, we do not refund any portion of tuition in the event that your child is unable to attend a class.
