Make and Take sewing class (ages 8 and up)

In this Make and Take sewing class, students will complete their project in just one session!

In this class, The materials will be prepared ahead of time. All fabric will be cut out in advance and any notions or embellishments will be prepared ahead of time. This is a great way to get into sewing if you have not used a sewing machine in a while or ever.

Class Date: Saturday September 12th 10am-11:30am We will be making bookmarks with pen holders. These bookmarks are a great way to organize your pens or pencils for notebooks to textbooks while also holding your place in the book!

What is a make and take? This format is a little different than how we usually run our classes. In a make and take, we create a kit with all materials and notions needed for the project all cut out and ready to sew. This allows us to focus solely on sewing skills and allows the participant to start and finish the project in one class.

We are located at 379 Wiese Albert Rd. Higganum CT.

*An email confirmation will be sent once you have signed up. Attached in the email will be a waiver to participate in activities on the farm. If you have not signed a waiver for the 2026 calendar year, please fill out, sign and bring it on the first day of class. (Please include all persons that will be on the farm including adults and siblings not participating.)

*Please note that our class size has a Max of 6 participants. Signing your child up for this class reserves his/her space for the class. Because of this, we do not refund any portion of tuition in the event that your child is unable to attend a class. However, space permitting, they may makeup one class on another time/day if space allows.
